- Only bet money you can afford to lose.
- Never chase losses.
- Set a deposit limit at the bookmaker before you start.

- Betting more than you planned.
- Borrowing to bet.
- Hiding bets from family.
- Feeling anxious or low after betting.

- Deposit limits per day, week or month.
- Time-outs from 24 hours to six weeks.
- Self-exclusion for six months or longer.

If you are worried about your gambling or someone else's, speak to your local health centre or a counsellor. Licensed operators in Zambia are required to provide self-exclusion on request.
